Orange County Utilities Hosts Community Collection of Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste

Orange County Utilities invites eligible Orange County residents* to its Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste Community Collection Event on Saturday, January 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at East Orange County Service Center located at 12050 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL 32826. Participants will have the opportunity to properly dispose of hazardous and electronic waste – free of charge.

The following items will be accepted:

Paint Pool Chemicals Stereos
Cooking Oil Vehicle Batteries Televisions
Flammable Liquids Drain Cleaners Computers
Cleaning Fluids Brake fluids & antifreeze Telephones
Pesticides Propane tanks (20-lb. max) DVD players

Participants are prohibited from bringing biologically active materials, radioactive materials, explosives, tires, or ammunition.

*Eligible participants include residents of unincorporated Orange County and the cities of Apopka, Ocoee, Orlando, Windermere, and Winter Garden only. Proof of residency is required.
