Orange County Utilities celebrates Water Conservation Month with free showerhead exchanges

ORANGE COUNTY – Orange County Utilities is joining several counties and utilities across Florida as it recognizes Water Conservation Month in April. To celebrate, the department is hosting free Showerhead Exchange Days. Orange County Utilities water customers are eligible to exchange their old, high-flow showerheads for new, low-flow devices. There is a maximum of three showerheads that can be given away per account. Customers who have replaced their showerhead(s) within the last four years are not eligible for this program. To participate, customers must:

  • Bring in a recent Orange County Utilities water bill and the
  • Exchange the showerhead(s) for the same type brought in

As part of Showerhead Exchange Days, customers are also eligible to receive low-flow aerators to reduce consumption at the faucet. A maximum of one kitchen aerator and three bathroom aerators will be given per account.

Join us in April on the following dates and times:

  • Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orange County Utilities Administration Building (9150 Curry Ford Road, Orlando 32825)
  • Monday, April 25, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alafaya Branch Library (12000 East Colonial Drive, Orlando 32826)
