$3.5 million will be given to Florida's Dept. of Environmental Protection through the Clean Vessel Act grant program. Granted more money than other states, Florida will use the money for a grant and education program. This program will be designed to diminish the dumping of raw sewage by boaters, mostly via sewage pumpout facilities.
